Cohasset’s Communications Specialist. Kevin Perry sat down with Superintendent of Schools, Sarah Shannon to discuss her first year at the helm of Cohasset Schools.
Join Daniel Harrington has he brings you on the last voyage of the doomed ship, the Larchmont.
This talk was the first time that David Robertson presented the results of a 2 year study on prioritizing at risk places in Mass for cultural resources along the coast.
They used GIS/arcview and have a storymap almost ready to present. David works with a lot of students and groups to bring attention to underwater archaeological resources and is one of only 9 state underwater archaeologists in the country. Cohasset made the cut for vulnerability of coastal towns (a level ‘yellow’), and this info may be additional info useful for planning purposes for the harbor committee, and he may be a good free resource for CSCR.
Based on another recent separate vulnerability assessment of Mass salt marshes and trying to understand migration based on climate change (high level policy meeting that happened to meet in Cohasset), the Paul Pratt Historical Society headquarters building seems to be right in the threat impact zone.
Join Richard Hughes has he takes us on a musical journey of what it was like to watch silent movies!
On this weeks episode we discuss events at the Paul Pratt Library that include free snow cones!, The new Community Market, Sailing club, and much much more!
